Opus brings in fresh uni from Japan’s Tsukiji auctions 4 times a week – Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Working with one of the biggest Japanese exporters from Tsukiji for the Singapore market, we are able to supply good uni even when it’s off-season (Sept and October) or when uni is in short supply due to typhoons and other weather conditions.

Due to the high volume and bulk-buying strategy our partners employ at the uni auctions, we are also able to get good quality uni at very fair prices.

The main uni grades we supply are bara (non-aligned and different colours) and narabi (aligned and same colours). From time to time, we will also recommend certain premium brands of uni when auction prices are low compared to its usual price.

We supply Bafun Uni, Murasaki Uni, Shiro Uni, Aka Uni from Japan, depending on seasonal availability.

We also import Canadian Uni from Sep to April each year, and Australian Short-Spined Uni from June to December.

With access to good uni all year round, we are one of the premier uni suppliers in Singapore that can provide quality uni all times of the year without cut-throat prices during low-yield months in Japan.
